1. About us. Lumora is run by a UK sole trader who trades as Lumora ('we'). Contact: help@lumora.app.

Who can use Lumora

2. Who can use Lumora. You must be 18 or over and pass our age check. One account per person; keep your login safe and tell us if someone else uses it.

What Lumora is

3. What Lumora is. Every character on Lumora is fictional and powered by AI. Characters are not real people, do not have feelings and cannot meet you. Pictures, videos and voices are made by AI.

Plans and tokens

4. Plans and tokens. Prices, what each plan includes and how tokens work are shown before you pay and in our Refund Policy. Plans renew automatically until you cancel in Settings; we email you before a 3 or 12 month plan renews. Text messages are free. If proactive media is on, photos, voice notes and videos are charged automatically at the prices shown in chat settings. Each charge is listed in Token history, and a failed media job returns the tokens.

Using Lumora well

5. Using Lumora well. You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. We may block messages or media that break them.

Your content

6. Your content. You keep the rights to what you write and upload. You give us a licence to store and process it to run Lumora. If you upload a photo, you confirm you have the right to use it and that the person in it agreed.

Our content

7. Our content. The app, characters, images and videos belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only inside Lumora for your own personal use.

AI can be wrong

8. AI can be wrong. Replies may be inaccurate or inconsistent. Nothing a character says is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Suspension

9. Suspension. We may lock or close an account that breaks these terms, fails the age check, or puts others at risk. We tell you why unless the law stops us.

Liability

10. Liability. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

11. Changes. We will tell you about important changes at least 14 days before they apply.

Law

12. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can also use the courts where you live.
